10 December 2025
On November 29 and 30, our Association held two warm and inspiring days dedicated to preparing for the Christmas markets, where we are actively involved every year.
The purpose of these gatherings is to raise funds to support Ukraine, particularly for the purchase of evacuation vehicles, which play a crucial role in saving lives.
November 29 — the magic of Bredele and children’s creativity
On this day, children and adult volunteers prepared bags of traditional Bredele Christmas cookies, baked in professional ovens using professional equipment. The children beautifully decorated the cookies, turning each one into a small piece of art. The Bredele are now ready for sale at the markets, filled with warmth, care, and holiday spirit.
November 30 — a varenyky-making gathering
The following day, the Association hosted a friendly volunteer gathering focused on making varenyky, one of the most iconic dishes of Ukrainian cuisine. Together, we prepared hundreds of varenyky with various fillings, sharing laughter, stories, and a strong sense of community.
Did you know?
Varenyky are more than just a dish — they are a symbol of home, family, and generosity. Traditionally prepared for celebrations and family gatherings, making varenyky is often a collective ritual bringing generations together.
Ready to welcome our guests
We are truly happy to be fully prepared for the markets and look forward to welcoming our visitors.
Each cookie and each varenyk carries not only tradition and flavor, but also a meaningful contribution to supporting Ukraine.
Thank you to all our volunteers, children, and friends of the Association ????????
