Easter Charity Markets

This spring, we had the honor of successfully organising a series of Easter charity markets, which became meaningful spaces of unity, cultural exchange, and support for Ukraine in Europe.

The events took place in La Wantzenau on 29 March, as well as in prominent European institutional venues of the Council of Europe: the Palais de l’Europe, the Agora, and the European Court of Human Rights on 01 April 2026. Each location offered a unique setting for connection, dialogue, and shared purpose.

These markets brought together volunteers, members of the international community, and engaged visitors. Ukrainian traditions, gastronomy, handmade crafts, and personal interactions created a genuine bridge between cultures and people.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers whose dedication and energy made these events possible. We also sincerely thank the Mayor of La Wantzenau for the support, as well as the Amicale of the Council of Europe for their trust and collaboration.

Thanks to this collective effort, we were able to raise funds to support the children’s palliative rehabilitation center “Hippocrates” in Kharkiv, as well as for the purchase of evacuation vehicles for Ukraine.

These Easter markets stand as a powerful example of European solidarity where culture connects people and meaningful action creates real impact.
