Invitation on 16 May to EU-UA Fest 2026 in Strasbourg: a space for unity, culture, and meaning

We warmly invite you on May 16 to Strasbourg a city that embodies European unity, dialogue, and shared values, to join the international cultural festival EU-UA Fest 2026, taking place for the second time.

Organised as part of the Europe Days celebrations, the festival is supported by leading institutions, including the City of Strasbourg, the Grand Est Region, the Permanent Representation of Ukraine to the Council of Europe, the Amicale of the Council of Europe, and the European Movement in Alsace. The event will be hosted at the prestigious Pavillon Joséphine, one of the city’s key cultural venues.

EU-UA Fest is more than a cultural event, it is a living platform for dialogue between cultures, countries, and people. Bringing together participants from France, Germany, Luxembourg, and Ukraine, the festival creates opportunities for exchange, inspiration, and meaningful connections.

In 2026, a special symbol of the festival will be the bandura - a unique Ukrainian instrument that carries centuries of history, strength of spirit, and emotional depth. Through music, art, gastronomy, and live interaction, the festival introduces the European public to contemporary Ukraine, strong, creative, talented, and forward-looking.

Admission is free, ensuring accessibility for a wide international audience and supporting the promotion of Ukrainian culture across Europe.

At the same time, EU-UA Fest carries a strong charitable mission. The festival will host a fundraising initiative to support the children’s palliative rehabilitation center “Hippocrates” in Kharkiv, as well as the purchase of evacuation vehicles for Ukraine.

EU-UA Fest 2026 is a space where culture becomes a shared language and solidarity becomes a common value.
